These Girls are Machines
In taking a community-centered approach to events, I had the opportunity to produce a two-week celebration of women cyclists. These Girls Are Machines featured a pop-up shop by women’s cycling brand Machines For Freedom; an art gallery presented by Fast Chance Collective, showcasing work by four local women artists and cyclists; a screening of Half the Road; and many other events and group rides designed to help create space for women riders in the San Francisco area.
